The annual meeting of the National Education Association (NEA) will be held in Washington, DC, July 1-6, 2016. The Representative Assembly will meet July 3-6, 2016. Nominations are now being accepted for NEA Student Delegates to the Representative Assembly. All nomination forms MUST BE RECEIVED no later than April 29, 2016, 4:45pm. Dear ASU Education Major:

If you need assistance with preparation for the PRAXIS exams, SAEA, in coordination with ASU, will be offering FREE PRAXIS preparation course over a 5-week period to help you prepare. This is your opportunity to improve your chances of passing the PRAXIS and getting a good score. The course is entirely FREE for SAEA members. Please take advantage of this opportunity. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Geraldine Jones in Room 111 in Abernathy Hall. Please complete the registration form and return it to Room 111 in Abernathy Hall before Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Also, if you know any of your classmates who need to take the PRAXIS, you may share this information with them as well.

This year's SAEA Conference will be held at Alabama State University March 4-5, 2016; sponsored by ASU's College of Education & Career Services. There is a registration fee of $25 for members.
