🐂 Lone Star Longhorns – Let’s Meet Your Cafeteria Team! 🐂
We’re excited to introduce the wonderful cafeteria team at Lone Star Elementary! 💙
These amazing ladies work hard every day to serve up delicious meals, friendly smiles, and a whole lot of heart. Let’s get to know the team! 👋
⭐ Cafeteria Manager Erica is beginning her eighth year with MISD! She loves spending time with her family and is a soon-to-be first-time grandmother! 👶💗 She also loves dancing and enjoying time with the people she loves most.
🐾 Carola has been part of the MISD family for four years! She has a huge heart for animals, especially dogs, and loves rescuing them. ❤️🐶
✈️ Lila has been with MISD for three years and loves her church, her family, and traveling. One of her favorite destinations is Mexico, where she enjoys visiting family. ️❤️️
🏕️ Tori is quite the animal lover, with nine pets right now—including dogs, snakes, a cat, a hamster, and fish! 🐶🐍🐱🐹🐟 She also loves camping and hiking and is a proud Cub Scout Mom! 🏕️ She is starting her third year at MISD.
Thank you to this amazing, hardworking team for all you do and for serving from the heart each and every day! 💙
We’re so glad you’re part of the Lone Star Elementary family! 🐂⭐

🙏❤️ SEE YOU AT THE POLE ❤️🙏

This morning, our Longhorns gathered around the flagpole for See You at the Pole, joining students across the country for a national day of student-led worship and prayer.

Our students came together for worship, scripture readings and praying for our school, classmates, teachers, families, community, and more. ❤️

We are thankful for the students who participated this morning and for this special opportunity to come together, encourage one another, and start the day united in prayer. 🙏❤️
