At Valiant, we refuse to ignore a hard truth, only about 2% of teachers nationwide are Black males. That matters, because young men need to see Black men leading with integrity, strength, and compassion. We believe men are called to be servant leaders, faithful husbands, present fathers, and anchors in their communities, and our mission is to raise up that kind of man. By God’s grace, we have assembled more men in our school than some schools four times our size, giving our students daily access to strong, engaged male role models. Through their example, we are shaping a generation of men who will love their families well, lead with courage, and transform their communities. 💪🏾

🎉 A GREAT START TO A NEW SCHOOL YEAR! 🎉

Our Valiant Cross Academy – St. Paul Campus Open House on August 5 was a wonderful success! We were excited to welcome our scholars, parents, families, teachers, and special guests as we kicked off the 2026–2027 school year.

A special thank you to Dr. Anthony Brock Lesley Smiley and Leo Jr Brock for joining us and sharing in this special evening. We are also grateful to our own Pastor Agnes Lover, teachers Sandra Mason Telena Ruffin Madison Michael E. Bush and staff for helping make everyone feel welcomed and excited about the year ahead. A special shout out to one of our founding students Azya for sharing her experiences to the new scholars

The great turnout from our parents and scholars reminded us that strong schools are built through strong partnerships. 💙💛

We’re looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, leadership, and success!
