Please join us in welcoming Head Football Coach Lawrence “L.A.” O’Neal to the Park Crossing family!

Coach O’Neal brings a wealth of experience as an educator, mentor, pastor, military officer, and successful football coach. With 13 years of coaching experience at Reeltown, Pike Road, Booker T. Washington, and Tallassee High Schools, he has built a reputation for developing championship programs and, more importantly, outstanding young men.

Most recently, Coach O’Neal served as Head Football Coach at Tallassee High School, where he led the Tigers to back-to-back playoff appearances, including a Region Championship and a third-round playoff appearance. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, leadership, and student development.

A native of Tallassee, Alabama, Coach O’Neal is a graduate of Reeltown High School, where he was a member of the 2001 State Championship team. He continued his football career at Western Kentucky University, where he was part of the 2002 Division I-AA National Championship team.

In addition to his accomplishments in athletics, Coach O’Neal honorably served six years in the United States Air Force and currently serves as a Chaplain in the United States Navy. He is also the Pastor of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Waverly, Alabama. His educational background includes degrees in Business Management, Applied Sciences, Divinity, and Secondary Education.

Coach O’Neal's passion extends far beyond football. He believes in using athletics as a vehicle to build great men, great citizens, great fathers, and great husbands. His leadership philosophy is centered around his motto:

Senior Brandon Hester and art teacher Ms. Parvin recently dropped off bags filled with art supplies for future young artists to receive from The King’s Canvas and Kevin King! 🖌️🖍️

These special bags were generously donated and decorated by members of the National Art Honor Society with the hope of encouraging young creatives to pursue their artistic dreams and never stop creating. 💙🎨

What an amazing way to give back to the community and inspire the next generation of artists! Great job to everyone involved in spreading creativity, kindness, and encouragement. 🌟👏

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Dr. Greer as one of the Assistant Principals from Montgomery Public Schools who successfully graduated from the Lead Forward Leadership Academy! 👏🏾📚

Yesterday, she along with other assistant principals, was recognized for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence in education. This achievement reflects the passion and hard work they pour into serving students, staff, and the entire school community each day.

The leadership course was taught by Maximize Growth, LLC.
