October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🩷

Throughout the month of October (October 1–31), Montgomery Public Schools stands in solidarity with fighters, honors courageous survivors, and remembers those we’ve lost.

We encourage our entire MPS family to spread awareness and support early detection education. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer! ✨

October is National Bullying Prevention Month! 🧡

At Montgomery Public Schools, we are committed to creating safe, supportive, and inclusive environments where every student feels valued and respected.

Kindness starts with us! Throughout this month, our schools will focus on promoting empathy, standing up to bullying, and fostering a culture of inclusion across all campuses.

Together, we can make a difference. Let’s choose kindness, speak up, and support one another!

Super proud of our JAG Scholars👏🏾🐆

September Employees of the Month | PM Class

Our PM students bring the same expectations to the classroom and lab each day — show up, work hard, stay engaged, help others, and carry yourself with professionalism.

Each month, ACT Central Alabama instructors recognize one student from each trade who is setting that standard.

Congratulations to our September PM Employees of the Month:

🔧 Raymond Wilkins — Industrial Metal Fabrication — Johnson, Abernathy & Graetz High School
⚡ De’Veon Gardner — Commercial Electrical — Johnson, Abernathy & Graetz High School
❄️ Jarkeyvis King — HVACR & Mechanical Systems — Johnson, Abernathy & Graetz High School
🏗️ Gavin McCord — Commercial Construction — G. W. Carver High School

These students are being recognized not only for the work they complete, but for the habits and attitude that will matter when they step onto a jobsite.

Keep setting the standard. We’re proud of the way you represent ACT Central Alabama.
