🚀🔬🌱 STEAM 4-H CLUB KICKS OFF THE 2026–2027 SCHOOL YEAR! 🤖💻

The STEAM 4-H Club held its first meeting of the school term on September 3, 2026, and it was an exciting start to a year filled with learning, creativity, and innovation! They also had a booth at Open House to inform parents and students about the club.

During the meeting, students received an overview of the club and learned about the exciting projects and activities planned for the upcoming school year. We were also excited to welcome Dr. Roosevelt Robinson and Ms. Angela Kelly from Alabama Cooperative Extension System at Alabama A&M University, who shared presentations about several of the upcoming projects.

🌟 Interested in STEAM and 4-H? There’s still time to join!

🎉🏆 CONGRATULATIONS, G.W. CARVER HIGH SCHOOL! 🏆🎉

Please join us in congratulating our outstanding students Mackenzie, Raziyah, Adriene, and Jakayden, along with Ms. K. Williams, for being named the 1st Place District Winners of the Alabama Power Grid Games 2026! ⚡👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

These talented students worked together as a team in a timed Energy House Hack-a-Thon Challenge, using teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and energy knowledge to successfully complete the challenge. Their dedication and collaboration truly paid off! 💪🏾🧠🏠⚡

We were honored to have Alabama Power representatives Mr. Broderick Smith and Ms. Pamela Ware visit G.W. Carver High School to celebrate our students and present them with a $500 check for their outstanding achievement! 🎉💰

A HUGE THANK YOU to Alabama Power for providing this incredible opportunity for our students to learn, compete, collaborate, and showcase their skills. We appreciate your continued investment in our students and their future!
