It's a wrap for another semester! We were busy in the Elder Law and GAP (heirs' property) Clinics . . . finishing strong with community education and pro bono clinics in Fort Deposit, at Lightwood Church of Christ in Marbury, Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, and the West End Baptist Church and Chilton County Extension Office in Clanton. Whew! So proud of these law students for serving our communities.

We are so proud of 2025 grad, Savannah Nelson! Savannah was recently recognized at the Alabama State Bar Annual Meeting with the ASB Pro Bono Student Award. Savannah was also this year’s Distinguished Public Interest Fellow, and her work with the MVLP and JPILF are a concrete example of the spirit of service our law school values so highly.
