🎨 It’s National Arts in Education Week!

September 13 through 19, we celebrate the power of the arts and the important role they play in helping students create, learn, grow, express themselves, and discover their unique voices.

Across Alabama, students are drawing, writing, dancing, composing, performing, photographing, creating films, and sharing their stories in ways that are uniquely their own. Every one of those creative voices deserves to be encouraged and celebrated!

National PTA Reflections is one of the many ways PTA helps encourage and celebrate the arts in education. This year’s theme, “What My Culture Means to Me,” gives students an especially meaningful opportunity to share who they are, what has shaped them, and what their culture means to them through the arts.

This week, we invite our PTA and PTSA families, educators, school faculty and staff, and communities across Alabama to join us in celebrating arts in education and the incredible students who bring the arts to life every day.

Let’s keep encouraging creativity, celebrating expression, and making sure every student has an opportunity to find their voice through the arts!
