What is Rangoli?🪷

Rangoli is a traditional Indian art form where colorful patterns are created on the ground using colored powdered, rice, or flower petals. It is especially popular during festivals like Makar Sankranthi (New Year)🎆, and on special occasions to welcome guests and bring good luck. These vibrant designs, often placed at the entrance of homes, symbolize joy, prosperity, and cultural traditions. Each region in India has its unique Rangoli style, showcasing the country’s rich diversity and artistic heritage.

Did you know that we have now expanded from A-KEEP to ALIEEP? YES! We are now 𝗔𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.

Our mission began with bridging Alabama and Korea, and because of the accomplishments we’ve made, we are opening up to more nations across the globe!🙌🌎

We currently have MOUs with institutions and officials in Taiwan, Vietnam, and India, with more to come soon!

ALIEEP’s goal is to make a difference by strengthening an inclusive community between Alabama and the World🌍 This performance will showcase and bring together people from many backgrounds and cultures, signifying Alabama’s rich cultural diversity.
