At our End of Semester Wrap Party, we ended fall 2025 on a positive note, reflecting and celebrating on what we are most proud of accomplishing this semester. At AUMTeach, our proudest accomplishment is and always will be YOU, the students, and everything you achieve. We have such a strong community here and love watching it grow and thrive. A big CONGRATULATIONS to the first ever AUMTeach student to participate in the annual COE Symposium and Pinning Ceremony, JaNiya Bevelle! Today, she committed herself to the pathway of professionalism and integrity in the classroom through our Professional Education program, and all of our guests were honored to hear from Emmy award winning weatherman James Spann as our symposium speaker. Congrats to JaNiya and Sarah F., another amazing AUMTeach student who was admitted into the Professional Education program! 🌦️🧡🖤

FAST, or AUMTeach’s student org Future Alabama STEM Teachers, took their first official trip out to Atlanta to see Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson’s lecture “This Just In: Latest Discoveries in the Universe.” Our FAST members are now making a lesson plan on one of the topics covered in Dr. Tyson’s lecture (of which there were many!). AUMTeach and FAST are excited to offer exclusive opportunities such as this to our students; DM us for more info on how to join!
