Montgomery will be hosting 5 days of COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics; Monday February 8, 2021-Friday February 12, 2021 at 3003 East South Boulevard, (The Old Montgomery Mall).
We will begin each day at 9 am and stay open until 7 pm, or until all doses allocated for that day have been exhausted. Our goal is to distribute 1,000 doses daily. There are no appointments, no call reservations, or paperwork that will be distributed ahead of time.
***It is imperative that anyone wishing to obtain a vaccine that are in the below categories enter at the correct location, East South Boulevard at Strathmore Drive.
***No one can just walk into Fire Station 9 to receive a vaccination. You must go to check in and receive your numbered paperwork packet.
If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer please email [email protected]. Ms. Williams is assisting with validating and scheduling all who will be assisting from inoculators to volunteers helping with traffic flow.
This Drive Thru COVID 19 Vaccination Clinic will be for all citizens 65 year of age and older and Frontline Critical Workers:

Food and Agricultural Workers
US Postal Service
Manufacturing Workers
Grocery Store Workers
Public Transportation Workers
Teachers, Support Staff, Community College, and Higher Education
Childcare Workers

Obituary of Milton Bridges
Norris ‘Milton’ Bridges, Jr. of Montgomery passed away from this life on Friday, November 8, 2019, at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his dear wife of 53 years, Janie Bridges; their only son, Michael Bridges (Renee); his sisters, Velma Sumerlin (Thomas) and Donna Susan Bridges, as well as numerous other family members.
Milton retired from the Department of Defense in 2002 after 32 years of dedicated service; and then worked 14 years with Somerset Homeowner’s Association.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 1:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel with a Chapel Service at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
