TEA Academy’s students are always on a mission!
Ice Cream! You Scream! We all Scream for Ice Cream!
The 6th-8th grade students made Ice Cream in a Bag!
Which is a Stem project module that enhances their young minds with many scientific concepts: freezing, phases of matter, solutions, freezing point depression, emulsion, mixtures of liquid and dry ingredients.
The students where asked a series of questions throughout the process and will design a scientific method detailing each step!
Other important lessons learned were cleaning their work stations and utensils. TEAMWORK! Every student contributed! Of course, they brought a few toppings, Oreos, Sprinkles, and Blueberries.
