Look! Kids can make a mess at our school - a mess of peas! Grown, cared for, picked, and shelled- all by children under 3 years old!

*Montessori at Mulberry note - anything else that looks messy is called what it actually is - a spill, toys on the floor, paint on the table, crumbs in your chair, etc. The word mess conveys something inherently 'not good' - EXCEPT in the case of peas - and boy are they good!

Fun at school! Worms, sunflowers, watermelon and MORE! Children receive such eye opening experiences and which in turn, connect them to nature, themselves, and their community.

We had to keep it a secret for a little while! Our teachers worked so hard on helping all of our students create memorable gifts for their mommies! Way to go - Mrs. Guha, Ms. Megan, Mrs. Mariana, Ms.Joli, Ms. Elizabeth, Ms. Julia Catherine and Ms. Gay!

M@M hopes all of the Moms from the past and present had a lovely day, on Mother's Day!

Art for the Very Young is a great book to introduce children to the elements of art. The first element introduced is - line. Franz Kline is the featured artist. Look at the 'masterpieces' these children have created! Swoon!
