Mrs. Sorenson’s kindergarten students are exploring their singing voices and practicing how to keep a steady beat using classroom instruments! 🥁🎤

They’re putting their musical skills to the test with the spooky song “Boo!” Listen in and enjoy their frightfully fun musical performance! 👻🦇

Way to go, little Eagles! ❤️💙🦅

We are incredibly thankful for the Montgomery Police Department, Montgomery/Countryside Fire Department, and our very own Nicholson Eagle for helping make the morning extra special! 🚓🚒🦅

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Walk to School Day at Nicholson! 💙❤️

Yesterday was Walk to School Day, and we found a fun way to make sure ALL of our students had the opportunity to participate! Many of our students ride the bus or are dropped off by their grownups, so walking to school isn’t always part of their morning routine.

On Walk to School Day, our buses—and our amazing parent drivers—dropped students off at the Montgomery VFW, where everyone gathered together and walked to school as a group! 👟🎒

We are so grateful for the incredible support from our Montgomery first responders, who helped make the morning safe, welcoming, and extra special. And, of course, no Nicholson event is complete without a visit from Montgomery’s very own Monty! 🦅❤️

What a fun way to start the school day—with friends, smiles, community, and a little extra movement! We love our Nicholson community! 💙❤️
