The Troy Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

The Troy Alumni Chapter is honored to share this outstanding documentary commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Theta Phi Chapter.

While Theta Phi and Troy Alumni are two distinct chapters serving different purposes within our great fraternity and Troy, Alabama and surrounding areas, our history is connected through many of the brothers who have faithfully served both.

Among the Historical Twenty (H20) is Bro. Jerome Solomon, who is also a member of the Troy Alumni Chapter. Additionally, 11 of the 13 charter members of the Troy Alumni Chapter were initiated through Theta Phi. Those brothers carried the lessons of brotherhood, achievement, and service from their undergraduate experience into alumni life, where they helped establish a chapter committed to serving our communities.

Today, the Troy Alumni Chapter is proud to include brothers initiated through Troy Alumni and many undergraduate chapters across the fraternity. However, it is appropriate to recognize and honor the brothers of Theta Phi whose leadership and commitment played such an important role in the early history of our chapter.

This documentary does an exceptional job of preserving that history and giving viewers a firsthand appreciation for the experiences and legacy of the men who helped shape generations of Kappa men.

We congratulate the brothers of Theta Phi on 50 years of excellence and thank them for creating a documentary that preserves an important part of our shared fraternity history.

It was truly an honor to sponsor the 2026 Troy Nutrition Center Pom Night for the elders of Troy, Alabama. What an amazing evening filled with laughter, joy, fellowship, and plenty of dancing! The seniors definitely showed us they still know how to have a great time and light up the dance floor.

We were also honored with the opportunity to select the Prince and Princess of the Prom. Congratulations to Prince George McClendon and Princess Barbara Atwell on being crowned tonight’s winners!

A special thank Ms. Nikki Scott, all the great dancers, attendees, and especially the brothers who came out to support and honor our beloved seniors. Nights like this remind us how important it is to celebrate and appreciate those who paved the way before us.
