Showing up matters at Garrett!

GES celebrated our staff members who have been present every day since the start of the school year. They arrive early, stay late, and give their best to our scholars each day. Student attendance matters, and staff attendance matters, too!

We honored these dedicated team members with a special lunch. Thank you to Outback Steakhouse Montgomery for sponsoring the celebration, and thank you to our staff for all you do for Garrett!

🐊💚💙 HEY, GARRETT ELEMENTARY! 💙💚🐊

What an AMAZING week to be a Gator! 🎉

🎂 We had a wonderful time celebrating Principal Muhammad’s birthday and showing her some Gator love!

⭐ Attendance Week was full of fun as our students showed up, participated in spirit days, and celebrated the importance of being at school every day. Show up. Be present. Make it count!

🎶 We were also excited to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month with special morning announcements and festive music to start our days while celebrating Hispanic culture and heritage.

📚 And we definitely can’t forget the WORK! Our classrooms were filled with students thinking, collaborating, using hands-on materials, solving problems, and learning together. Our teachers continue to create meaningful opportunities for students to grow each day.

From celebrations to culture, attendance, and strong instruction, Garrett Gators showed up this week! 🐊💚💙

Every student. Every day. Every moment counts!
