Looking back on one of the most powerful moments from our 2026 Annual Conference this past February. π Through a special partnership with Kent Cammack, a handicap-accessible van was presented to a deserving Lee County family β a moment that immediately shifted what daily life could look like for them. Before this gift, the family faced ongoing transportation barriers for medical care and everyday needs, limiting access to experiences many of us take for granted.
Now, that reality has changed. This gift represents freedom, independence, and the ability for this young boy to experience more of the world around him with his family.
As shared by 2025β2026 President-Elect Krystal Patterson of Lee County Schools, βThis gift changed the daily life of a young boy and his family in ways words can hardly express.β
It was a powerful reminder that our conference is about far more than professional development β it is about people, compassion, and creating moments that truly change lives. πβ¨
