💚 Presence Matters. Every Day Counts.

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and right now, attendance has an additional impact for Alabama schools. During the state’s attendance count period, student attendance helps determine teacher units and resources for the next school year.

Attendance is about more than a count. Every day a student is present is another opportunity to learn, connect, grow, and achieve.

Consistent attendance matters—not just today, but all year long.

Be Here. Be Ready. Keep Learning.

📣 Let’s Make September 30th a 100% Attendance Day! 🎯🏫

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we’re inviting school districts and schools to join CLAS/AAPASS in a statewide push to make September 30th a 100% Attendance Day!

Every day in school matters. Regular attendance helps students stay connected, engaged, and on track for success. What better way to close out Attendance Awareness Month than by setting a bold goal: 100% of students in school on September 30th!

We encourage districts and schools to make it their own—build excitement, recognize students and staff, involve families, and celebrate the importance of showing up every day.

🗓️ September 30
🎯 The Goal: 100% Attendance
💙 The Message: Every Student. Every Day.

Will your school or district take the 100% Attendance Day Challenge?

Spread the word, start planning, and let’s see how many schools across Alabama can reach 100% on September 30th!
