The Zorn scholars enjoyed a Presidential Challenge yesterday morning with President Mitch Henry.
They were challenged to be coachable, have a strong work-ethic, be accountable, be curious, be positive, communicate clearly, be a team-player, follow the rules, and be proactive - a truly virtuous calling.
We look forward to seeing them live out this challenge on campus this coming semester as spiritual leaders and Bible students

Faulkner University alumnus Ryan Frederick serves as the pulpit minister at Lakeside Church of Christ in Orange Park, Florida, where he preaches, teaches and ministers to the congregation. Frederick said his time at Faulkner University played a pivotal role in shaping both his faith and career path. Although he did not originally arrive on campus intending to become a minister, his experiences at Faulkner ultimately guided him toward ministry.

“My four years at Faulkner truly changed my life course,” Frederick said. “My classmates, teachers and the staff at Faulkner provided a godly atmosphere for students like myself to learn, grow and have the kind of experiences that pushed me closer to God and wanting to serve Him.”

Faulkner University is expanding opportunities for future ministers through a new partnership with the West Virginia School of Preaching! 📖🎓

The newly signed memorandum of understanding creates a pathway for West Virginia School of Preaching graduates to transfer up to 48 credit hours toward one of Faulkner University's accredited Bible degree programs.

This partnership strengthens our shared commitment to preparing Christian leaders for ministry while providing students with opportunities to continue their education and pursue advanced degrees.

This past weekend, Faulkner's V. P. Black College of Biblical Studies hosted its annual Leaders Connect, an opportunity for church leaders to come together for fellowship, encouragement, and exploration of topics vital to today's church (and some great food!). Topics this year included church legal issues, digital ministry, emotional communication, vocational ministry, and eldership development. Sessions for leaders' wives included the power of encouragement and the necessity of authentic connections. Mark your calendars for June 18-19, 2027 and plan to join the next Leaders Connect!
