TO GET STARTED YOU MUST HAVE YOUR CDL PERMIT AND DOT PHYSICAL.

You will have out-of-pocket costs for your DOT physical ($100), CDL permit ($36.25), 3yr-MVR (5.25), and you will have to do a DOT drug test when you have been accepted into a class.

Training is provided by the best teachers in ALABAMA at Trenholm Truck Driving.

Day Class - Monday - Thursday, 7am to 2pm
Friday - 7am to 10am
Night class - Monday- Thursday, 3pm to 9pm
or
6pm to 12 am
Classes are 6 weeks long.

You can get a DOT physical at Family Industrial Services on Mobile Highway, which is the cheapest in Montgomery.

FYI

If you have a two or more speeding tickets, you will have to wait to apply for trucking school until it falls off your MVR because you will not be able to find a job. Trucking companies are being very strict with the driving records now and will not hire you with even one speeding ticket. So just be mindful of these things when you are thinking about becoming a truck driver.
