7th Grade Lions Football practice will be BEFORE SCHOOL for the 2026 season.
More specific information will be available in the coming days. We will post all pertinent information as soon as it becomes available to us.

Parents are now able to sign into Skyward Family Access beginning June 10th for EOCs and June 16th for grades 6-8 to access their child's STAAR scores.

Congratulations to our May Athletes of the Month for Oak Hills Junior High!!

Congratulations to Mason Nowak on being named the OHJH Male Athlete of the Month. This is an honor for him that is truly well deserved. As an 8th grader, Mason has made a tremendous impact as a multi-sport athlete. He played a key role during a successful football season, consistently demonstrating leadership, dedication, and a team-first mentality. He was also an important contributor to the dominance and success of the Oak Hills track team. Mason is known for his outstanding work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to support both teammates and classmates. His commitment extends beyond practices and competitions, as he arrives early each morning to put in extra work in the weight room, constantly striving to become bigger, faster, and stronger. What makes Mason even more impressive is his commitment in the classroom. As a member of the Oak Hills Junior High National Honor Society, he consistently goes above and beyond academically, maintaining straight A’s throughout the year while taking all accelerated classes. He also earned an impressive 100 average in Algebra and was recognized as the recipient of the Outstanding Algebra I Student Award. Mason represents Oak Hills with pride and truly exemplifies what it means to be a L.I.O.N. His dedication, leadership, and excellence both on the field and in the classroom make him highly deserving of this recognition. Congratulations, Mason!
Congratulations to Adalyn Stultz on being named the OHJH Female Athlete of the Month. She has also been selected as the top athlete for this 8th grade group this year. Adalyn is an amazing athlete who played 8B volleyball, where she didn't play last year, but stepped up in a huge way learning and growing more confident with each practice and game. This team also won undefeated district championships, and Adalyn was also voted as the most improved player. She was also a part of the 7A and 8A basketball teams. This year in basketball, she filled such a huge leadership role showing her confidence on the court, and never once let up or showed defeat. She humbles herself by always working hard thinking she can always do more. Defensively, she was a huge threat being one of the top defenders (steals) on the court. Her awareness of the court is flawless and she has such a great read of the ball. She was voted to receive the Fighting Heart Award by her teammates, which suits her perfectly.
Lastly, she was also a part of our track team for the last 2 years where she ran hurdles and did high jump at district, and she also did other jumping events throughout the season. Her work ethic has never failed her and her confidence as a top athlete has grown tremendously from the start of 7th grade to now. This girl is not only a phenomenal athlete, but she is a great human being. From showing her horses, to being helpful in the classroom, she is someone we aspire for all of our future athletes to be. Congratulations Adalyn. Way to represent Oak Hills so well. We will miss you!

Mrs. Eichenberger’s science classes closed out their year with cake models of animal and plant cells this morning! These students worked so hard and had tons of fun!
