🔥🌞🌤🌞🔥Summertime is HERE and We are ready to R.I.S.E!!! All students who registered for MIB's Enrichment Program, GET READY for some fun while learning!!!! So, we'll see you at 7:30 a.m.!!!!

We know it's Tax-Free Weekend, but be sure to check this out I'm two weeks!!❤️

It's that time of the year!!! Get started early with back to school shopping with a little help from Alabama's Tax-Free Weekend July 15-17, 2022.

As a reminder, our school uniform colors are as follows:
-Red, Royal Blue, or White uniform shirts
-Khaki and Navy Blue Bottoms/Skirts/Dresses

... and we had DJ Coach Ray to send us home on an EXCITING note!!!!🥳🥳🎉🎉

Pizza, pies, popsicles, cookies, gifts galore, tears, cheers, "I'm not ready to go home," laughter, and TONS of LOVE felt and heard... today was THEE day!🎉

Our last day of our summer program was truly bittersweet. It has been such an awesome time to work with these scholars! Our teachers and staff worked hard and ROCKED IT while engaging students in standards-based instruction, enrichment activities, and speaking SO MUCH POSITIVE into our students.

A sweet, very mild student asked in the sweetest voice, "Can summer school last a little longer?" Now, THAT sealed the deal... ❤️ 📚🍎💥👑✨️🏆

Wheewww!! Today...today!!! Wow! What an absolute BLAST of a day it was at MacMillan's Enrichment Program's Field Day!!! These scholars and our staff had so much fun today... and they deserved every bit of it!!

I even heard several students say, "I REALLLLY LOVE SCHOOL!" Regardless of what it took to get that🤣, I'd say our mission was definitely accomplished!🥳🎉❤️

Bounce Houses brought to us by Capital City bouncers LLC. PHENOMENAL!! BOOK THEM!💥

Brewbaker Tech Cheerleading Squad...AWESOME and RESPECTFUL YOUNG LADIES!🤸‍♀️

Games, water play, movie day, food, music, Nancy's, popsicles, treats, and sooooo much fun!!! Today was absolutely ROYAL with enough giggles, laughter, and smiles to make ANYONE'S day that much ☀️brighter!!!☀️

As we begin to "wrap" things up at our enrichment program, it's REALLY hard to put today into words!😭 Last week's performances and now this...we completed our mission of CROWNING students in EXCELLENCE!✅️

A BRILLIANT, ENERGETIC, AND ENGAGING SPEAKER...Mrs. Sakia Dixon spoke with our scholars about all they are and can be in this world!🍎❤️🙏🏿💥

Literacy Day volunteers came for our 1st grade students!!! They were awesome!📚

Our teachers joined in the Hula Hoop competition fun!🤣🎉

2nd grade got their tasty treats cooked in their solar ovens.

.. and members of THEEE Alabama State University ROYAL Court came to give our scholars their certificates!👑💛🖤

Today was all that and more!!! We are truly blessed and grateful to have worked together with the most awesome scholars!

... and now...the GRAND FINALE!!!🎉 Tomorrow is FIELD DAY (for summer program students ONLY!)💥🎉❤️

-$1 for Nancy's Italian Ice (1 per student only)
-Wear comfy, school-appropriate shorts, comfy shoes, and TIE-DYE SHIRTS!!
-Bring a towel! (No swimsuits as no student will be drenched)
-We will have indoor/ outdoor activities!
