River Region Academy is excited to begin the 2026–2027 school year with a team of outstanding educators! We are thrilled that all of our teachers and administrative staff are returning this year – a testament to the positive culture and strong community we've built together.

Thanks to our incredible growth, we are also excited to welcome Ms. Mel Smith, who will be teaching Middle School Science and History, and Ms. Darleane McCord, who will be teaching Intermediate Elementary (Grades 3–4). We are also excited to have Ms. Julie Handey, who joined our faculty in April, returning to teach our multi-grade class this school year.

Our teachers have been hard at work preparing lessons and classrooms, and we can't wait to welcome our students back for another incredible year of learning and growth!
