🌞 Summer Learning: Week 2
Our students have spent the week learning, creating, exploring, and growing through engaging hands-on activities and meaningful lessons. From STEM challenges and creative projects to academic enrichment and teamwork, they have continued to show enthusiasm, perseverance, and a love for learning. We are so proud of all they have accomplished so far and can't wait to see what Week 3 has in store!

🌟 STEM Summer Learning in Action! 🌟

Our summer learners put their problem-solving, engineering, and math skills to work this week!

🐝 Pre-K and Kindergarten learned to program and count with the Bee-Bot, developing early coding and number sense skills through interactive play.

🪵 Kindergarten explored counting, building, and creativity with KEVA Planks, strengthening both math and engineering skills.

🤖 1st Grade used VEX Robots to solve equations on a number line, combining coding and math in a fun, hands-on way.

✖️ 3rd Grade practiced multiplication by creating arrays, helping them visualize and understand multiplication concepts.

🌉 4th & 5th Grade took on an engineering challenge by designing and constructing bridges using KEVA Planks, testing their creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.

We love seeing our students think, create, build, and innovate every day during Summer Learning! ☀️🧠🔬⚙️

Thursdays just got a little sweeter! 🍦🎨

Our students enjoyed a special visit from the ice cream truck and had a blast expressing their creativity through painting today. Smiles, sweet treats, and colorful masterpieces made for the perfect summer learning day!

We kicked off our first day of summer learning with lots of fun and lots of sun! The theme for this summer is GAME ON: BRAINS ON, and we are definitely ready to LEVEL UP! 🎮

Congratulations to Mrs. Mix on your retirement from Wares Ferry Road Elementary School! Your years of dedication, love, and commitment have made a lasting impact on so many students and families. Thank you for the countless lives you have touched and the difference you made each day in the classroom. We wish you a retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, and many wonderful new adventures!

Today, Wares Ferry celebrated our amazing kindergartners during their graduation celebration! Students proudly celebrated this special milestone as they prepared to move on to 1st grade with bright smiles and excitement for the future. We are so proud of all they have learned and accomplished this year, and we know they will continue to shine!

Our 3rd and 4th grade students had a wonderful time cleaning, planting, and watering the garden beds today. Students worked together to help beautify our campus while learning the importance of caring for plants and the environment. We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and excitement as they helped our school garden grow.
