The first day of school brings all the emotions— happy tears, nervous butterflies, excitement, and maybe even a few bittersweet goodbyes. Whether you’re sending your little one off for the very first time, you’re a new family joining MCA, or watching another school year begin, we want you to know you’re not alone.

After morning drop-off, we invite all MCA parents to join us for Tears & Cheers in the FM Church Atrium. Stop by anytime after you’ve dropped off your student(s)— we’ll have loaded teas, provided by CAP Nutrition 🩵❤️, and fresh coffee waiting for you.

As summer comes to a close, we’re thankful for the memories made and are looking forward to all the new memories we’ll create together at Montgomery Christian Academy this school year!

Today we celebrate the birth of a nation founded on the belief that freedom is a precious gift — one that has been protected through the courage, sacrifice, and service of countless men and women throughout our history. We honor those who have laid down their lives so that generations of Americans could live in liberty.

As Christians, the Fourth of July also reminds us of an even greater freedom. While earthly freedom is worth protecting, the greatest freedom was purchased at the cross. Through Jesus Christ, we have been set free from sin, given new life, and offered the hope of eternity.

Today, we are grateful for both.

May we never take for granted the blessings we enjoy as Americans or the grace we’ve been given as followers of Christ. Let us live as people who use our freedom to serve others, pursue truth, and glorify God.
