The College of Education led the efforts to launch an MOU with Morris Brown College. Dean Anthony Broughton championed this vision and today we celebrated at the Signing Day!

Alabama State University and Morris Brown College have signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a pathway for Morris Brown graduates to pursue graduate studies at ASU.

The partnership strengthens collaboration between the two historically Black institutions while expanding educational opportunities and supporting the next generation of scholars.

ASU salutes the class of 2026!

Kimani Hare, an undergraduate student from Acworth, Georgia, is earning his degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. He is a member of Men of Distinction in Education (M.O.D.E.) and a published poet with four poems selected for publication in a literary journal.

After graduation, Kimani plans to educate and inspire high school students while pursuing his master's in literature and working on his poetry book!

He reminds fellow Hornets to: "Breathe and enjoy your time here at ASU. This journey is way too short to be spent stressing over the little things."
