ter St. Youth In Need is one of few organizations in the nation with a continuum of care with programs and services that include residential homes, foster care case management, homeless outreach, counseling and support groups, education, early childhood education and family development, and the regional provider of Safe Place. Youth In Need employs more than 350 employees at more than 40 sites across a 100-mile service area that includes St. Louis City and St. Louis, St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren and Montgomery Counties.

It's not always sharing perfectly or calling someone a "best friend." Sometimes it's building side by side, offering a toy, sharing a laugh, comforting a friend, or learning to wait for a turn. Every one of these little moments helps children build empathy, confidence, and the social skills they'll use for years to come.

There’s something special about starting the day together. ☀️🥞

Over the last few weeks classrooms hosted French Toast with Friends. Classrooms were filled with smiles, conversation, and quality time as families joined their children for breakfast.

At Head Start, we know that parents are a child's first and most important teachers. Moments like these strengthen the connection between home and school and remind children that the important adults in their lives are working together to help them learn and grow.
