Feed the Farmers 2026

What a great day giving back to our local farming families who give so much to our FFA chapter and community! Thank you, farmers, for all you do! We were happy to deliver nearly 180 meals all across the county for lunch today. One of our chapter’s favorite days!

Our chapter members have been making phone calls trying to get meal counts for our Feed the Farmers lunch delivery next Wednesday! If you have not received a call or were left a voicemail, please call the school at (765) 569 - 2045 and ask to be transferred to the ag department. FFA members will continue to make calls today and tomorrow to ensure we have as many of our local farmers as possible on our delivery list!

Activities & Events for October 5th - 10th

Our Feed the Farmers event is taking place this Wednesday! If you received a permission slip, don't forget those are due by the end of the school day MONDAY!

National Convention permission slips are due back by Thursday before we go on Fall Break.

This will be the last week to pay dues! We are extending the deadline as Mrs. Woods and Mrs. Humphreys were out a few days last week. We will also be passing out donuts on Thursday morning to anybody who has paid dues OR if you pay your dues that morning.

We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing Fall Break!

Congratulations to the Livestock Skillathon Team on their results in the State Contest today!

In total, 32 teams and 127 individuals competed. We are proud of these FFA members and their performance in the state contest!

Our Quiz Bowl Team can be seen in the news clip from today’s COB & COG event!

Over 550 students from more than 20 local schools participated in Ivy Tech Terre Haute’s annual Cob and Cog competition to gain experience in agriculture and STEM careers.

Forty-nine agriculture and science students attended the Annual Ivy Tech COB & COG event today held at the Ivy Tech campus in Terre Haute. Students compete in various challenges and have the opportunity to see the campus.

Placing in the Top 3 of their respective contests included:
•Logan Mager - 1st Place Livestock Evaluation
•Zane Organ - 1st Place Metal Working
•Jase Martin & Lilly McKee - 1st Place Welding
•William Schnellenberger & Colton Morse - 2nd Place Robo Challenge
•Mya Kenley & Avah Spencer - 3rd Place Crop Consulting
•Andy Yeargin, Raylan Swinford, & Cathleen McKee - 3rd Place Soil Judging
