Jacket orders are due by Friday! You will need to be measured AND bring in payment. See Mrs. Woods if you have any questions or want to order a jacket!

We will be placing an FFA jacket order at the end of the month! If any FFA member would like to order a jacket, please see Mrs. Woods to get your measurements taken. Measurements and money are due by August 28th!

Difference between a Tailored and Standard Jacket:
▪️Tailored Jacket - Custom made using the measurements we send to National FFA.
▪️Standard Jacket - Jacket size is selected based on the measurements taken... Sizes are set like clothing sizes (small, medium, large, etc.).

Riverton Parke FFA Food Drive🥫

August 31st - September 4th

Help us stock the local food pantry shelves AND win the Indiana FFA CAN-Do Contest!

The grade level that brings in the most items/money will be rewarded an Ice Cream Float party during FOCUS! All students 5th - 12th grade are able to participate in the food drive!

Come ❤PARTY💙 with us before the first home football game! Free hot dogs and chips to all Panther fans! Free USA themed star glasses and tattoos for all students! (while supplies last)

Activities and Events for August 24th - 29th

A recap of Friday’s call-out meeting will be shared at the beginning of this week! Lots of upcoming events!

You can start paying your FFA dues this week! $15 (cash or check) due by October 2nd!

National Convention applications will be sent tomorrow morning to 9th - 12th grade students who were in FFA last year. Completed applications are due by September 4th.

Permission slips for District Kickoff will be available this week. An email will be sent when they are ready for pick-up!

Mrs. Humphreys is excited to launch her new Farm Operations Vocational Program this school year! Through the course, students will gain hands-on experience working with local farmers and participating in the year-round activities that take place to produce a crop.

Activities and Events for August 17th - 22nd

The FFA Call-Out will be this Friday during FOCUS. If you are interested in being in FFA this year, please attend! Get a stamp from Mrs. Woods or Mrs. Humphreys.

Soils will be starting this week! There will be a call-out Tuesday during FOCUS with practices Wednesday and Thursday after school. Please let Mrs. Humphreys know if you have any questions.

We will be adding a Livestock Skillathon morning practice to help those who have other practices after school. Morning practice will be on Thursdays from 7-8 AM. This is not required for everyone but will be an available option for those who cannot attend afternoon practices. Students will have to attend at least 8 practices in order to compete in the Region Contest. (Any member is welcome to attend to get more study time!)
