Zinaida Dedeic '04, a Davis UWC Scholar Class of 2004, has a career in cancer research. Zinaida earned a BA in Biological Science at College of the Atlantic.

Twenty-five years ago, a bold vision was launched, one that got its start in a visit to UWC-USA years earlier. The vision was to provide young, internationally-minded students with the opportunity to benefit from higher education and bring their perspectives to US colleges and universities.

The Davis UWC Scholars Program was born not just from a desire to fund
undergraduate education, but from a profound belief in the potential of UWC
graduates to act as catalysts for a more peaceful, sustainable, and just world.

The UWC-USA community is profoundly grateful to the Davis Family for their
extraordinary generosity, the vision they shared with Dr. Phil Geier for this
program, and their unwavering faith in our students.

Gladys Onyango '03, a Davis UWC Scholar Class of 2003, is a non-profit and philanthropy professional and is the Associate Director for Co-Impact. Gladys earned a B.A. in Africana Studies at Wellesley College, as well as a Masters Degree in Development Practice from UC Berkley, Rausser College of Natural Resources.

Seamus Abshere ‘02, a Davis UWC Scholar Class of 2002is Co-founder and CTO at Faraday, AI Advisor for Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) and Data Analytics Customer Council for Google. Seamus earned his BA in Anthropology and Computer Science at Princeton University.
