New season, new mission 🔱
Winding roads, no cell service, rugged terrain. These are our favorite spots to explore and hunt for wild, sustainable seafood. We have a lot of exciting courses and trips we’re launching soon and are ready for a new season of adventure.
Big thanks to for creating one of the coolest gear pieces we’ve ever used. It’s a lot easier to manage rocky terrain with a technical backpack designed for freediving and spearfishing. Staying warm as always in the frigid pacific with .wetsuits.
Good times ahead 🌊

Recently had the honor and pleasure to work on the safety team for the 2026 U.S. Freediving Nationals Pool Competition in Novato, California.
Congratulations to sponsored athlete for achieving a new men’s national record for Team USA, and to the many other athletes who achieved national records from Cuba, Brazil, Peru, and Mexico.
This was a unique event because next to these world champions were many intrepid recreational Freedivers competing for the very first time, borrowing equipment, and still learning rules. It was incredible to see a community come together to make Northern California a world class yet welcoming destination.
Special thanks to .freediver .graves .herrick .sarah and many more. Shoutout to the amazing photographers and friends and for capturing the event.
Our mission is to grow freediving in all forms and the sport of competitive freediving a fantastic example of human achievement in all ways. We’re excited to be part of it and look forward to the future 🔱

We’re excited to announce we are officially opening our doors for the next generation of Odyssey Freediving.
In addition to our freediving and spearfishing courses, we’re adding manufacturing and rigging/repair as services for our community. We’re excited to bring back American manufacturing for dive products, which will mostly be made from recycled materials from salvaged ships and sailboats.
In addition we’ll be supplying as a source for freediving and spearfishing equipment. They are committed to creating a strong community and we are excited to partner with them.
Join us this weekend as we celebrate with other local businesses on Saturday 12-4 pm. Thank you to everyone who helped us get here, we look forward to the next step in our own Odyssey 🔱

Incredible spearfishing in French Polynesia 🌊
We recently returned from a recon trip to dive with to scout out new locations and spent a week on a remote atoll with no electricity or running water.
We were treated to some of the best diving conditions we’ve ever seen, healthy reefs, delicious food, amazing culture, and plenty of sharks.
With a blend of high energy spearfishing and grounded relaxation in nature, this was one of our favorite trips of all time and we look forward to returning with a group to guide there.
Special thanks to our friends and guides for the best equipment in the world, and Maui the Tahiti National champion who showed us the way of the underwater Jedi.
More to come 🌴

The Team went north this past weekend, venturing to a spot where and spent their childhoods learning the ways of harsh NorCal dive conditions while diving for abalone. Since the abalone closure this area has seen a significant decline in dive activity.
The beauty and bounty of this coast is hard to put into words. While the kelp is struggling to maintain its historic levels, there is hope with the amount of healthy abalone we saw. The efforts being put forward by all those involved with urchin removal and kelp restoration are an effort we can all get behind.
We harvested uni, mussels, lingcod, cabezon, Dungeness and clams and made the best seafood cioppino imaginable. Enjoyed by the fire with a drink in hand of course.
Looking forward to getting back and exploring as part of our upcoming The Lost Coast project 🌊

Epic day in Big Sur 🌊
Wishing a happy birthday to our teammate and friend ! Prime conditions led to a strike mission deep into wild territory and Kris came out successful with two beautiful lingcod. Business as usual for this guy.
Many good memories over the years and looking forward to many more ahead. We’ll be grilling lingcod all weekend and we’re lucky to have you in the community Kris. 🔱
