This week local Association presidents were lobbying in. Sacramento to fully fund Prop 98, 14 week pregnancy leave, taxing corporations to fund schools, and keeping the superintendent of schools an elected, rather appointed, position.

MBTA Awards Banquet for our Site Reps, Association leaders and friends!

Waiting to see if it will be in the governors June budget- a great win for educators everywhere!

MBTA recognized as one of the many individuals and Associations awarded by the Monterey Labor Council for its work in keeping out Navigator Charter Schools. What was at stake- around 120 educators and 9-10 million dollar cut from MPUSD and our students.
