OMNI Science students awed at the process of sublimation with dry ice

Flying high in OMNI's science class, as we experiment with Helium:)

Claude Monet was a master of painting light. His water lily paintings are ethereal and serene. Like Monet, these OMNI student Impressionist masterpieces focus on the water's surface, reflecting light and sky, often without a horizon line using oil pastels and watercolor techniques to capture nature’s magical colors.

How did they say “selfie” in 16th-century Italy? In our image-saturated age, it’s hard to imagine a time before selfies, Snapchat and Instagram. Before photography made it a simple to capture a likeness Venetian painters tried to show an individual’s unique character. OMNI students enjoyed using soft plush furs, sumptuous velvets, shiny silver and gold, and splendid jewels tell us about the subject’s family and status in society.

Omni art students paid tribute to noble, ancient Romans or family friends and entertainers, by drawing and shading a portrait bust to create 3D realism. It isn't easy to turn paper in marble but our OMNI students managed to do just that!
