Sharks! This afternoon is your last opportunity to drop off coins and bills. Everyone wants to know who is in the lead. We can’t say for sure, but take a peak at what the jugs looked like this morning. Online totals are posted in stories! Thanks for showing up this week!

Mid week check in! We’ve got a lot of BILLS 💵 piling up. Kinder and first are also doing great. As a matter of fact, it was SO busy in front of their jugs this morning we couldn’t get close enough to film 😆
We love the enthusiasm from our kids and the adults who support them! See you tomorrow!

The excitement is infectious at our Penny Wars tables! The kids are keeping a close eye on the jugs, trying to figure out who’s in the lead. Don’t forget that you can donate online which makes sharing with family and friends really easy.

This Wednesday the 16th is Shark Bite Night! Panda Garden in Seaside is donating a portion of all proceeds made on Wednesday to our school. For your order to qualify you need to show them a Flyer. You can bring a paper copy or show it to them in your phone!

What a great start to Penny Wars! We had some serious competitors this morning bring in bags and rolls of pennies giving their grade a strong lead. We also had some fistfuls of silver coins dumped on the Tk and Kinder classes. It’s easy to see who the kids think their competition is! As a reminder, the middle school (6,7,8) compete against each other and the elementary (tk-5) compete. So there will be a middle grade and an elementary grade ice cream party!
Thanks for showing up today Sharks! We’ll see you again everyday this week, before and after school.

We have a lot going on next week! Monday is the start of PENNY WARS, one of the kids’ favorite fundraisers. It’s so fun to watch them guess who’s in the lead as the jugs fill with coins and bills. Wednesday is Shark Bite Night at Panda Garden! 20% of the proceeds brought in come back to our school. Thursday is our general PTA meeting and Friday is the last day to push your grade in the lead for Penny Wars. We also opened a storefront where you can purchase spirit wear and have it shipped right to you!

Hello La Mesa Sharks!
Your support has allowed us to purchase some much needed shelving for our art teacher! However, we’re struggling to figure out how we’re going to install them. If you have the time and skills, we can lend a hand! We’d love to get them installed for her the afternoon of 9/18, during the school day. If you can help us, please contact Sarah asap at [email protected].
