I was a kid who developed a high level of emotional maturity, learning to read the room and adapt to the moods around me incredibly early. It was critical to my survival in an often unsafe home environment.

This continued through my early adult relationships with unsafe partners and unbalanced friendships that mirrored my childhood experiences where I did so much placating, peacemaking, and way more than my share of the emotional work.

My adult skill building journey, heavily attributed to BreakFree, taught me how to keep my boundary system intact and protect my peace by learning to keep the emotional responsibility where it belongs.
I achieved fundamental shifts in my relationships. 🙌🏻

Today, I’m still a highly attuned and emotionally intelligent human, and now I have the skills to decide when and where to use my superpowers without exhausting my resources or being taken advantage of, and I have the ability to attract, foster, and maintain relationships that have a healthy balance and bring so much fulfillment!

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our independence as a nation, I’m reminded of what it means to have personal freedom as a woman - to have independence from gendered conditioning and the binds of past wounding, to be free in the present moment with clear thinking, curiosity, peace, and ease - regardless of the circumstances surrounding us in any given moment. Each day we have the gift of choice to face the challenges that confront us from our inherent nature of love, wisdom, and brilliance, and in this choosing, we will continually reclaim our freedom. ❤️

Last night I met with a BreakFree sister for our first quick coffee date….
Our conversation flowed easily, curiously, vulnerably. We covered all flavors of life’s fodder. We laughed and at times we teared up, not with sadness, but with tenderness and a relaxed sense of intimacy. We had a common language and a shared knowing.
We blinked and all of a sudden 3 hours had flown by. We reluctantly, but gratefully tucked more desired conversation aside for next time and I left feeling a light spirit and very full heart.
My most ardent wish is for all the women in our community to experience this level of sisterhood, because it’s magical and it’s healing.
I’m excited to share that registration for Spring 2026 BreakFree 1 and BreakFree 2 are now open. I hope you’ll come be a part of this beautiful healing journey for yourself, and build a community of women who you get to keep for life along the way. ❤️
