Monterey Boat Heritage, Inc.

Since 2014, using a shoestring budget, volunteers began working on the preservation of the General Pershing. The new 501c3 nonprofit (Monterey Boat Heritage, Inc.) was created in order to fundraise and receive donations and grants to be used for more extensive physical preservation of the original 1930 fishing vessel as well as educational projects approved by the MBH Board of Directors. The owners, Andy and Mark Siino, grandsons of the original boat builder, Angelo Siino have leased the General Pershing to the nonprofit to be used solely for this purpose.
