Over the weekend, our Robodores team had the honor of participating in our third off-season competition, the Mad Town Throw Down! It was an exciting event for us and we had a great time.

We made it to playoffs with our great partners , , , overcoming challenges and learning every step of the way!! We were part of an amazing alliance, the people in it were simply amazing! We're so grateful for all the great skills and personalities we got to experience. Thank you all!! We hope to hang out with you all again soon!

This past weekend, our mighty Robodores had the privilege of attending our second off-season competition - CAPITAL CITY CLASSIC!!

We made it to playoffs and finals, overcoming every challenge and learning something new every step in the way, all alongside our wonderful alliance partners and !! Beautiful alliance full of wonderful people and amazing skills! Thank you all for being so great and we hope to see you all soon!

Exactly a week ago, our Robodores went on a little recruiting adventure to the International School of Monterey!

Hand in hand with some MHS robotics students and the York robotics team Deux Ex Machina, we spread the magic of FRC, reached some hearts, and inspired some recruits :)! Thank you to ISM for the warm welcome and our besties Deux Ex Machina! You all rock!!

Quetzalcoatl - a name which originated within the Nahuatl language and belongs to the Mesoamerican ‘Feathered Serpent’ diety. In some myths, Quetzalcoatl is “a mythical culture hero from whom almost all mesoamerican peoples claim descent.” In others, it is depicted as the god of the sun, dawn, sky, winds, knowledge, and arts.
It is from this mythical creature that the Robodores took inspiration to come up with the name for this year’s robot, our googly-eyed champion Quetzy 🐉😁✨!!!
