Dear Rainbow Art family,
After much deliberation, we are moving forward with officially closing down Rainbow Art LLC. In order to support our family during the pandemic, we (Mr. Darren and Mrs. Trisha) had to shift our attention to our professional art career GIORGIKO | LA]. All the time we once used for running Rainbow Art has now been consumed by Giorgiko projects, and we do not have the capacity to resume classes. Instead of continuing to keep classes on hold, we feel it is the right time to officially close down.
This is a bittersweet decision for us as we greatly miss you all. We are so thankful for the time we got to share with you, our Rainbow Art family.
As a last hurrah, we will be opening our studio doors on the following days for visitation:

➡️ Saturday 9/25: 4-6PM
➡️ Sunday 9/26: 4-6PM
Swing by to pick up some free art materials (while supplies last) and any old artwork that might have gotten left behind here. We’d love to see you!

We are proud to announce Eugene as our Spring 2020 Student of the Quarter! We‘re looking forward to when we can finally reopen our studio and award him his SOTQ certificate and 50 Rainbow Dollars! 🎉
We love that Eugene supplements his natural talent with a lot of hard work. He is so patient with the creative process and is constantly generating new work in and out of the studio. Swipe to see some of his incredible artwork!

Rainbow Art Foundations Series NOW AVAILABLE!

Our online Foundations Series is now open for enrollment! https://rainbowartmpk.com/foundations
Foundations is a 12-part online course for adults and children ages 7+ that will cover all the basics of image creation and give students the tools to create their own masterpieces at home. Students will be able to submit assignments and receive guidance, critical feedback, and encouragement from a Rainbow Art instructor.

We believe that this course will broaden our students’ foundation and grow them into better artists, regardless of their current skill level.

Through a simple painting exercise, we can observe, learn, and enjoy the seemingly unpredictable nature of watercolor instead of being held back by the fear of the unknown.

We created the Reflect & Refine series with our beloved Rainbow Art students and families in mind with the goal of bringing peace and rest through the wonderful vehicle of art. We hope that this first episode, as well as future episodes to come, give our viewers a quiet space to refine their artistic skill while reflecting on thoughtful questions.

-Watercolor paper (Canson XL Watercolor Pad 9"x12")
-Watercolor set (Prang Semi-moist Watercolor Set) - This one comes with a brush and you can use the lid as a palette!
-Palette
-Paintbrush
-Pencil
-Paper towel
-Two small cups of water
-Cup about 3” in diameter for tracing

Our two new Rainbow Art video series are now underway!
Our free “Reflect & Refine” series consists of videos focused on growing artistic skill through simple exercises. This introspective series will also address the mental/emotional barriers that can hinder our growth. Our first video drops this Monday!
Our premium “Foundations” series is a 12-part online course that will cover all the basics of image creation and introduce students to different materials. We will be releasing this series on our new online platform soon!

Due to this week’s Statewide “Safer at Home” order, the filming of our “Home Studio Program” at the studio has been delayed. In the midst of these many changes we are glad to share that we are still producing a video series for our students, but this time from the safety of our home. We were able to move most of our equipment from our studio to our home and we are hoping to begin filming in the coming days. Although the “Home Studio Program” series is delayed for now until we can get back to our studio, we are very excited for these new videos which will be going out from our home to yours ❤️.
