Mid-Autumn Festival-China
The belief is that the moon is at its fullest and brightest, coinciding with the time of harvest in the middle of Autumn. Three days sharing the joy and beauty of the full moon, celebrate the bountiful harvest, and send wishes of longevity and happiness to loved ones. Mooncakes are customarily given as gifts during this Festival.

Mid-Autumn Festival-Korea
An important festival of Thanksgiving for a good harvest. Three days of family gatherings, worship ceremonies and Tomb-sweeping where people go outside to sweep the tombs of their ancestors one or two days before the festival. Each household prepares newly-harvested grains and fruit, taro soup, and muffins in the morning of the Festival.
