OCUPARAS TU SILLA?
Se acercan las Fiestas y empiezan los preparativos: los regalos, la decoración, el menú de la cena, el lugar donde reunirse... Y aparece la pregunta inevitable: "¿Cuántos somos el 24?". Y en la respuesta, aparecen, implícitamente, las "sillas vacías", las personas que no están... La persona que está lejos, la que la vida llevó por otro camino, la que eligió no estar, la que se enemistó, la que se llevó la muerte... Y aparece la tristeza. Y las "sillas vacías" duelen. Y necesito ese abrazo contenedor y prolongado que no va a llegar... Y extraño tu sonrisa...Y los ojos se llenan de lágrimas... Y duele... Pero es la realidad. Y a la realidad hay que aceptarla... Entonces suspiro hondo y giro la cabeza. Y veo las "sillas ocupadas". Son las personas que me aman. Y sonrío. Así es parte de la vida: pérdidas y ganancias... Así voy a brindar el 24, con lágrimas contenidas por las "sillas vacías", y sonriendo desde el alma por las "sillas ...ocupadas"... Feliz. Sí, feliz a pesar de la tristeza. Porque ser feliz no es necesariamente estar alegre. La alegría es una emoción pasajera que termina cuando el buen momento finaliza. La felicidad es otra cosa. Es un estado del alma. Ser feliz es estar en paz. En paz sabiendo que estoy recorriendo el camino correcto, el que coincide con el sentido de mi vida, el de mis errores y triunfos, con mis miedos y mi coraje... Mi camino, el que yo elegí. Un camino en el que hice todo lo que pude, y más, por los que no están, a los que me brindé incondicionalmente, a los que amé..
