Monte Vista Education Foundation

The Monte Vista School District has an award-winning Science Fair Program that is active in the Elementary, Middle School and High School. Numerous students have been successful competing in regional, state and international science fairs. The Education Foundation has been able to support these programs by purchasing equipment and supplies for the students to follow their dreams.
The Foundation recently was able to purchase an autoclave for scientific research. As a rural district, there are fewer resources available for our students to achieve their potential.

WHAT IS COLORADO YOUTH SPORTS GIVING DAY?
• Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day is a statewide campaign uniting hundreds of nonprofits dedicated to getting more kids in the game.
• Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day is a collaborative effort between The Daniels Fund, Project Play Colorado, many sponsors and hundreds of nonprofit organizations supporting youth sports throughout the state.
• After raising more than $3.7 million in its inaugural year, this powerful initiative returns Sept. 3–17, 2025, giving youth sports organizations like ours the chance to raise vital funds and build momentum for youth sports across Colorado.
• The 2025 Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day campaign launches at 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 3, 2025, and runs until 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 17, 2025.
• To amplify giving, the campaign features a match and incentive fund of more than $1.5 million to further boost all donations made to participating nonprofits.
