Lacordaire Academy's Annual Used Book Sale

Another successful sale is “in the books”! The Book Sale Team, all tireless volunteers, would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to all our shoppers for your loyalty, your love of books, and your support year after year. You are all “A Little Something Special” to us! See you next year!

We are all set and ready for our book lovers! Free and open admission today (Friday), Saturday, and Sunday. Doors open at 9 AM. Today’s hours are 9 AM to 8 PM, Saturday and Sunday are 9 to 5, and, remember, Sunday is $5 a bag day. See you at the sale!

Reminder: the registration link is now live for anyone who wants to register for opening day, Thursday, May 14th. Visit lacobooksale.com to register. Space is limited to 90 shoppers.

Book Sale Dates and Hours:
Thursday, May 14 (registration and fee required for opening day) —4PM-8PM
All other days are free admission and open hours, as follows:
Friday, May 15–9 AM-8PM
Saturday and Sunday, May 16 & 17–9 AM-5PM
Sunday is our popular Bag Day: we provide the bags, you fill them up and pay only $5 per bag.

UPDATE: we are NO LONGER accepting donations for this year’s book sale! We will begin accepting donations again on September 22!

At that time, the book bunker will be open again 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
You can’t miss it—the two white doors on the ground level of the beautiful old home on the Lacordaire campus!
Lacordaire Academy is at 155 Lorraine Ave in Montclair, on the corner of Lorraine Ave and Park St., and the driveway entrance is on Park . Just pull in, drive up to the Book Bunker, open the doors, leave your books, close the doors (thank you) , and drive off.
We ask only that you please avoid the busy school drop-off and pick-up times, which are Monday through Friday, 7-9 AM and 2-4 PM.

Remember to get your book donations in soon! Last day and time to donate will be April 12 at 5 PM! (We also accept DVDs and CDs). It’s so easy to donate: just drive up to our Book Bunker, open the doors, and drop off your donation! You can donate 24/7, but we do ask that you avoid school drop-off and pick-up times, Monday through Friday, 7-9 AM and 2-4 PM. We’re busy cleaning and sorting the books so we can have the best Book Sale ever! Questions? Email us at [email protected]
