Montclair Kimberley Academy Alumni Alumni are the link to MKA's heritage, and the key to MKA's future.

Montclair Kimberley Academy, established in 1974, is the product of the merger of 3 separate schools, each with a reputation for providing an outstanding education: Montclair Academy, a boys' school founded in 1887, The Kimberley School, a girls' school founded in 1906, and Brookside, a coed school founded in 1925. Today's MKA has built on that tradition of excellence, and offers its diverse student body a rigorous, yet innovative, college preparatory education.

A much requested addition to our Golf & Racquet Classic— mahjong, sponsored by Gemma Diaco ‘98!

With two options available, choose Open Play if you know your way around the tiles or Mahjong 101 if you’ve always wanted to learn.

Both run for two hours with tiles, mats, cards and racks provided (as well as brunch). You can just show up, network and play!

On Saturday, members of our Alumni Council came together for a meaningful day of connection, collaboration, and strategy as we look ahead to the school year.

Together, we explored ideas for alumni programming, discussed new initiatives, and talked about ways to strengthen alumni philanthropy, all with the goal of ensuring our alumni community continues to feel connected, engaged, and supported.

We’re grateful for the time, ideas, and energy our Alumni Council brings to this work, and we’re excited for all that’s ahead! 💚💙

Have ideas or want to join the Alumni Council? Send us an email or come to an alumni event to learn more: [email protected]
