Reminder: National Night Out is Tomorrow! 🚨

Join the Montclair Police Department and our public safety partners for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:00–8:00 PM at 1 Lackawanna Plaza (Bloomfield Avenue Parking Lot).

National Night Out is a chance to meet the officers, firefighters, EMTs, and first responders who serve our community, learn more about the work they do, and explore emergency vehicles and equipment up close.

Families can also enjoy activities from local businesses and community organizations, along with safety information, giveaways, and more.

Happy summer! The MCPK administrative team is busy finalizing plans for a great 2026-2027 school year. We do have a few open spots for the upcoming year, so please encourage your friends to apply.

As a reminder, the MCPK offices are open Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm during the summer months. The best way to reach us during the summer is to email the admin team at [email protected].

August 26th 12:00 - 1:00 PM: New Family Intro to MCPK

New Family Intro to MCPK Virtual Presentation: Everything new families need to know to start MCPK.

September 2: Ice Pop Social 5:00-6:00 pm at MCPK.

Come mingle with your classroom community and the Admin Team! You'll also tour your child's classroom with their teachers.

September 3: First day of school!

Mayor Baskerville, 4th Ward Councilor Toler, and the Montclair Township & Council invite the community to this year's Juneteenth Flag Raising.

Join the YMCA of Montclair's African American Resource Network in celebration of culture, community, and friendly competition at the Juneteenth Freedom Fest on Friday, June 19, from 4:00pm-6:30pm.

Hit the court for a spirited teen and adult basketball tournament, then savor a taste of the community with a featured spotlight on Sweet T's Southern Eatery.
