We’re excited to share the “Food For Thought: Understanding Nutrition” 2026 Pre-College Summer Program at Montclair State University‼️ This 1-week residential experience gives students the opportunity to live on campus, explore academic interests, build friendships, and get a true taste of college life through engaging classes, co-curricular experiences, and recreational activities.

Whether students are discovering a future career path or preparing for the transition to college, Pre-College Summer is designed to inspire confidence, curiosity, and connection.

17 Summer 2026 Sessions:
• Session I: July 12 - July 18, 2026
• Session Il: July 26 - August 1, 2026

🎉 Congratulations to Jennifer Salt Taylor, MS, RDN, CHES, on being named the 2026 Nutrition and Dietetic Educators and Preceptors (NDEP) Outstanding Preceptor for the Northeast Region!

A proud Montclair State University alumna, Jennifer earned her BS in Nutrition and Food Science in 2010 and completed the Dietetic Internship Program in 2012. Today, she serves as a Family and Community Health Sciences Educator and County Agent III with Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Passaic County, where she continues to make a lasting impact on the profession and our students.

Jennifer has been a dedicated preceptor for our Dietetic Internship Program, mentoring interns during their community nutrition rotations and helping shape the next generation of nutrition professionals.

This well-deserved recognition reflects her commitment to education, mentorship, and community health. We are proud to celebrate her accomplishments and grateful for her continued partnership with our program.
