These visual resources are designed to help children and families become more familiar with the tools and routines that may become part of their care.

This guide introduces some of the devices a child with cystic fibrosis may encounter using approachable visuals and child-friendly language.

Continuity. 👏

It sounds simple, but it’s one of the biggest gaps in how children experience care and support.

A child doesn’t stop needing something because they leave the doctor’s office.

They go home. They go to school. They move between caregivers, teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, and family members.

And too often, the tools meant to support them stay behind in the setting where they were created.
That’s the problem Focus Posters is built around.
A visual support created for a health need may still matter at home. A routine practiced at home may need to carry into school. A coping strategy introduced by a professional may need reinforcement everywhere else.

This is my morning routine. I keep it next to my bed not because I need it, but because it reminds me what I'm building. Focus Posters® turned into something much larger than what it was imagined to be 5 years ago. It was simply meant to help my friend create a chart for his son to clean his bedroom, with a character that looked like him.

It's become a visual support creation platform for children's health, education, and home routines...think Canva, but purpose-built for child-centered communication. It helps parents and professionals create these DIY-esque tools quicker and easier than ever, and empowers kids to see a version of themselves succeeding on resources built for them. Win-win 😊

I made a Focus Posters® design for my wedding day, too. Maybe I'll share that next week. When you're a solo founder, your work becomes so much of your identity. And for me, a lil bit of home decor.
