We often talk about the power of prayer, but we don't always talk about what to do when we don't get the result we were fasting and praying for.
It can be a lonely place to be, feeling like your faith didn't "work" the way it was supposed to. But what if faith isn't about changing God's mind, but about aligning our hearts with His?
Jesus prayed with such honesty, but He ended with, "not my will, but yours be done." That is the ultimate goal for us as followers, to trust that He is a loving Father who sees the full picture when we only see a small part.
How do you maintain your trust in God's goodness when an answer to prayer is different than what you hoped for?

I've been thinking a lot today about how easy it is to just take someone's word for what the Bible says instead of looking it up ourselves.
Paul warned that even people within the covenant can be deceivers who twist the truth. It's a reminder that while we are meant for community, our primary source of truth must be our own relationship with God and His Word.
How has your perspective changed since you started studying the Word for yourself rather than just listening to what others say about it?

A Simple Reset
This was the sky I saw this morning. I paused from everything else I was doing because it reminded me of a simple truth: God’s creation is constantly pointing us back to Him.
Have you ever looked up and thought, “How beautiful this is—all of the Lord’s creation?”
In a world filled with deadlines, notifications, worries, and distractions, sometimes we need a simple reset. There is no cost, no special destination, and no elaborate plan. Just take a moment to look up.
Even if you’re walking through a difficult season, carrying a heavy burden, or facing uncertainty, pause for a moment today. Step outside if you can. If it’s raining, look through a window. Notice the sky above you and remember that the same God who created the heavens sees you, knows you, and cares for you.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” — Psalm 19:1
Take a moment today to look up and be reminded of His presence.
☁️ What is something in God’s creation that helps you slow down and notice Him?

I was thinking today about the idea of going all in. We see it in movies or at casinos where people bet everything they have on a single moment.
But how often do we apply that to our spiritual lives. Are we just hoping things work out, or are we intentionally placing our trust in God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
We only get one life to figure this out, and the stakes are our very eternity. It is a heavy thought, but it is also one that should lead us toward peace and purpose if we choose correctly.
What is one area of your faith where you feel like you are still holding back a few chips instead of going all in.

I was reflecting today on the idea of humble confidence and how much it changes our daily walk.
It is easy to feel like we have to project an image of having it all together to be confident. Or, on the other hand, we think being humble means we have to downplay our value.
But the gospel tells us a different story. It tells us we are flawed, yes, but we are also infinitely valuable and loved. It is a beautiful contradiction that brings so much peace when we finally lean into it.
Which side of that scale do you find yourself leaning toward more often lately, the humility of knowing your flaws or the confidence of knowing you are loved?

One of the most encouraging things we can remember is that God guarantees to give us wisdom if we simply ask Him. We do not have to have all the answers ourselves.
I have found that reading one chapter of Proverbs every day, matching the chapter to the day of the month, has been an incredible way to keep my mind grounded in practical truth. It helps with everything from how we talk to people to how we lead in our work.
Which chapter of Proverbs has shared a truth that helped you through a difficult season or a tough decision recently?
