Reflecting back on the Hospitality and Tourism Department’s Open House on November 10th.

We had a great time connecting with parents and students, sharing insights, and showcasing all that our department has to offer!

Who Should Earn the BS in Hospitality, Tourism, Sport, and Event Management?

In our department, we provide students with hands-on experience by taking them to visit hotels. This offers them a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand experience of the industry’s operations, observe professional practices, and interact with seasoned professionals. These visits are one of the memorable highlights of their educational journey.

Our lodging class had remarkable visits over the Fall semester of 2023 exploring the world of hospitality at Hyatt Regency Morristown. Thanks to Dr. Li-Chun Lin, Ph.D.’s guidance. Where the students gained insights into guest experience, managerial perspectives for the lodging industry, and networking with industry pros.
