Notice to all our Qi Gongers! Due to the Friends ANNUAL BOOK SALE & DONATION DAYS, as well as our GREAT READS MA COMMUNITY BOOK DISCUSSION, we had to cancel Qi Gong on 2 Tuesdays this month. We are sorry for the inconvenience however we hope you can come to one of these other events on those nights!!

We are saddened as well. Dolly was a passionate advocate for literacy. She was an American icon in so many ways. Read a book today, read to a child. Pass on her enthusiasm for literacy!

The Libby app team is saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly was a beloved artist and cultural icon, but perhaps just as importantly, she was a lifelong champion of literacy and the belief that everyone deserves access to books. Through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she helped put books into the hands of children in communities across the globe and inspired generations of young readers to discover the joy of reading.

Today, we’re taking a quiet moment to read in Dolly’s memory and to celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

There will be no Memory Cafe this month due to the holiday and a scheduling conflict the next week. We will back in October!! Mark your calendars now and please be aware that we are changing the time to 1pm to accomodate the most people.

After the excitement of the Party on the Patio, we have a slower week. As you know, since we do not have anyonne in the children's area at the moment, those programs are on hold. We welcome all our families to come and use the room as we work through this process. Our staff is more than qualified and happy to help you and your family navigate the children's room!! We can't wait to see you!

There are two new bestsellers, one new movie, one new children's book, and nine other new books.

The new bestsellers this week are "The True Meaning of Love" and "Under the Falls." The new movie this week is "Project Hail Mary."

Oh what a night! Thank you to everyone that came out and danced the night away at the 8th Annual Party on the Patio!!! A truly beautiful night! Thanks to all of you, our sponsors, our vendors, the band, generous donors, and the library volunteers that worked tirelessly all evening selling those raffle tickets!!!! We love our community! 🩷 Raffle winners will be contacted this week!
