The shoulder belt clip on a backless booster is often misused (or not used when it should be), and many kids find it uncomfortable! Waiting longer to transition to a backless booster can allow you to skip the clip: most booster seats do not require the clip once the shoulder belt lays correctly without it. Always read and follow your specific booster seat's manual!

If you’re in a crash, make sure to check with your car seat’s manufacturer to see if it needs to be replaced! While some brands require replacement after any crash, some brands do allow you to continue to use the seat after a minor crash, as long as a strict set of criteria were met. The manufacturer’s guidance should be followed even if the seat was unoccupied.

Please go report this page on Facebook: they have downloaded and posted one of my videos as their own and their entire reels page appears to be made up of multiple creators’ content shared in this manner.

Their Instagram feed also has the same problem-please report there as well.

While it’s great to spread the word on safety, the appropriate thing to do is hit that “share” or “repost” button so the original creator is credited for their work. Downloading someone else’s content and posting it as if it were your own, without prior permission from the creator, is not okay. It’s dishonest, it can present a false narrative about the creator, and for creators who rely on monetization for income, it can cheat them out of those earnings because they’re not being credited.
