We are so excited to introduce something we have been thoughtfully working on behind the scenes...

🩰 Phoenix Dance Shop 🩰
Coming Early September

One of the things we love most about Phoenix Dance Shop is that it is truly for everyone. 🩷 You do not have to dance at Phoenix Dance Company to shop with us. Our doors will be open to dancers, gymnasts, families, and members of our community looking for beautiful, quality pieces at affordable prices.

We have thoughtfully curated a collection of dancewear and shoes, gymnastics leotards, warm-ups, athletic pieces, accessories, and plenty of special finds in between. You may even spot a few fun favorites tucked throughout the shop, including our dumpling and cube squishies. ✨ With a variety of brands, styles, sizes, and price points, our goal is to offer a selection our community can be excited to shop. And there will always be something new to discover, with new pieces arriving every week as Phoenix Dance Shop continues to grow!

Affordability has been incredibly important to us from the very beginning. 🩷 We understand that spending $40–$50 on a single leotard that a growing child may quickly outgrow simply is not practical for every family. You will not find a single $40–$50 leotard on our racks. We have been intentional about choosing quality pieces at prices that make sense, because beautiful dancewear should not have to come with an unreasonable price tag.

We also know that shopping for dancewear online can be complicated. Sizing varies between brands, fit can be unpredictable, and returns and reordering take time. At Phoenix Dance Shop, you can simply come in, browse, compare, try it on, and leave knowing you have the right fit.

And in our area, shopping for dancewear in person can mean driving nearly two hours.

We wanted to change that.

We wanted to create something beautiful, convenient, affordable, and close to home. 🩷

Shopping will be just as simple at checkout, with cash, check, credit and debit cards, and contactless tap-to-pay all accepted at Phoenix Dance Shop!

💕 What a great first week of dance! 💕

Our first week back is officially in the books, and we are so excited for this year! We definitely did not get nearly as many pictures as we planned but we did manage to grab a few sweet moments from the 2-5 year old classes this week!

It was so much fun seeing our returning dancers back in the studio and getting to welcome so many new faces into our Phoenix family. We have such a fun year ahead of us, and this week made me even more excited for everything that is coming! 💕

A few quick reminders as we head into week two:

💕 If you have not joined our new GroupMe yet, please make sure you do! This is one of our main forms of communication throughout the year. Class updates, schedule changes, cancellations, performance information, pictures, reminders, and other important information will all be shared there, so it is very important that at least one parent/guardian from each family is in the group.

💕 Competition families, a separate Competition Team GroupMe will be created soon! More information will be sent out once that is ready.

💕 Please continue to make sure dancers arrive no more than 10 minutes before their class time and come dressed and ready for class with the correct shoes. Please also make sure names are written inside shoes, bags, water bottles, and anything else coming into the studio. With young 2-3 year old dancers, things can get mixed up very quickly!

And before we wrap up our first week, we have to give the biggest thank you to Mrs. Amy! 💕 There truly are not enough words for how much of a help she is. From jumping in wherever she is needed, helping our dancers, and keeping things moving smoothly!

And a huge thank you to our amazing helpers, Juju, Peyton, Beckham, and Emma! These girls have stepped up in such a big way and have been absolutely wonderful with our younger dancers. We appreciate every single thing they do and could not be more thankful for them! 💕

Week one done! 🩰 We cannot wait to see everyone back in the studio for week two and continue working toward all of the exciting things we have coming this year! 💕

So incredibly grateful for the opportunities Downtown Monroeville continues to give our small businesses! 💗

We are so excited to put these funds to work at Phoenix Dance Company and continue investing in our students, our studio, and our downtown community. Thank you for believing in and supporting local businesses like ours Monroeville Main Street. We are so thankful to be a part of Downtown Monroeville! 🩰✨

And we hope y’all are just as excited as we are, because we have some VERY exciting things coming soon! 💗 We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on!

📣 DELAYED OPENING TOMORROW 📣

Tomorrow is a busy evening in our community! With Open House at Monroe Academy, Meet the Panthers at Excel, and a Downtown Monroeville event that requires our attendance, Phoenix Dance Company will have a delayed opening tomorrow.

The studio will open and classes will begin at 5:45 PM.

🤸 Tumbling I/II dancers are more than welcome to attend Tumbling III/IV at 5:45 PM so they don’t have to miss tumbling this week!

All classes scheduled before 5:45 PM will not meet tomorrow. All classes will return to their regular schedule next week!

Thank you so much for understanding and allowing us to be present for the schools, organizations, and events that are such an important part of our community and being able to be there for our families. We’ll see everyone beginning at 5:45! 🩷

🩰✨ FIRST DAY OF DANCE IS TOMORROW! ✨🩰

We are SO excited to officially kick off a brand new season at Phoenix Dance Company tomorrow! We can’t wait to have everyone back in the studio and welcome all of our new dancers for their very first day! 🤍

📱 Before classes begin, please make sure you have joined our NEW GroupMe! This is very important, as GroupMe will be one of our main forms of communication throughout the season. Important reminders, schedule changes, closures, performance information, and other updates will be posted there. If you were in one of our groups last season, you will still need to join the new group for this season! Make sure you open the link in your browser for it to work!

We’ve also been BUSY this summer! There are so many new additions and little changes throughout the studio, so when you come in this week, see how many you can spot! 👀✨

A few quick reminders before we get started:

🩰 If you ordered shoes during Open House, everything has arrived! Your order will be ready for you to pick up on your dancer’s first day of class.

✨ Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your scheduled class time. The doors will remain locked until 10 minutes before class.

🩰 Make sure your dancer arrives dressed and ready for class with the correct shoes, hair secured, and their name written inside their belongings.

💳 If you have an unpaid balance on your account, you received an email yesterday. All balances must be taken care of before your dancer can participate in class, so please check your email and account before arriving this week.

And while you’re looking around at everything that has changed this summer… keep your eyes open. 👀

💙 Just 1 Day Left to Register! 💙

Can you believe it? Registration for our 2026-2027 dance season closes tomorrow at 11:59 PM!

If you've been thinking about joining Phoenix Dance Company, now is the time! Tomorrow is the final day to register before we begin finalizing class rosters, competition placements, costume orders, and getting everything ready for an amazing season.

Several classes are already full, and others are filling quickly. If the class you're hoping for is full, don't forget to join the waitlist! We keep a close eye on our waitlists, and if enough dancers are interested, we may be able to open another class or contact families if a spot becomes available.

Interested in joining our Competition Team? Be sure to register before tomorrow night's deadline so we can include your dancer in placements as we finalize our teams.

We are so excited to see both new and returning faces in the studio very soon, and we can't wait to kick off another incredible year together! ❤️

Please register before the deadline! We are finalizing team placements and class rosters, and we want to make sure every dancer is placed where they'll be the most successful.

🍂 One Week Left to Register! 🍂

Can you believe we're only ONE WEEK AWAY from registration closing? 🤍

Registration for all classes closes on August 8, and many of our classes are already full or have very limited availability.

✨ Good news! Due to high demand, we've opened 2 additional spots in our Ballet I (ages 5–9) class! This class had completely filled, but we were able to make room for just two more dancers.

If you've been thinking about joining Phoenix Dance Company, now is the time! Those two spots won't last long.

If the class you're interested in is full, be sure to join the waitlist! If enough dancers join, we may be able to open an additional class.

We can't wait to welcome everyone for an amazing season filled with new friendships, confidence, and lots of dancing. 💗

Special Opportunity for Our Older Dancers!

Our Wednesday Contemporary/Jazz class (Ages 13+) is currently at risk of being removed due to low enrollment. Before making that decision, we want to give everyone one last opportunity to join!

From now through Saturday, you can add our Wednesday Contemporary/Jazz class for just $10 per month!

This special applies whether:
💗 You're already enrolled at Phoenix Dance Company.
💗 This is your very first class with us.
💗 You're adding it to your current schedule.

No matter how many classes you take, this class is just $10 per month!

Contemporary is a beautiful style that combines technique, creativity, and expression. Jazz is a fun upbeat style great for improving your stage presence. Dancers in this class will also have the opportunity to perform in our Christmas community performances making this the perfect time to jump in and try something new!

If your dancer's last name is not listed above, they are NOT currently enrolled in this class. We've had a few families accidentally think they were registered, so please double-check your schedule!

If this class reaches our minimum enrollment by Saturday, it will remain on the schedule, and the discounted tuition will be applied to all dancers enrolled in the class, including those who are already registered.

The good news is that all of our other classes have officially made except for baton! In fact, many are already FULL or have only one spot remaining. If you've been thinking about registering for Fall classes, now is the time! Registration for all other classes closes August 8, so don't wait until the last minute!
